SuperTech FOOD Safe Cut Resistant (D) Gloves

SuperTech FoodSafe – food safety and hand protection in one. Water-Based PU Technology: The gloves are made of durable, highly cut-resistant knit fabric, and the gripping area is coated with a blue Water-Based PU coating – a water-based polyurethane. This technology creates a thin, flexible coating that provides: excellent dexterity and a sense of touch, a secure grip during precision work, high flexibility, comfort during long hours of use, and a good fit. The blue color scheme was chosen with the food industry in mind, where high visibility of protective equipment is particularly important. CUT D – high cut protection. SuperTech FoodSafe achieves level D protection in the cut resistance test according to EN 388. Full result: EN 388: 4X44D. This allows the gloves to be used for work requiring contact with sharp edges, tools, and equipment, where a standard food-grade glove does not provide sufficient protection. Extended Food Contact Testing: The model was subjected to an extended set of laboratory tests regarding the safety of materials intended for food contact. ✓ Overall Migration: Overall migration tests were conducted to determine whether substances in excess of permissible levels could migrate from the glove material into food. Testing was performed using various simulants simulating contact with various types of food, including: 3% acetic acid – simulating contact with acidic foods; 10% ethanol – simulating contact with aqueous foods and specific food products; and isooctane – a medium used in testing materials intended for contact with fatty products. The results obtained met the adopted test criteria. ✓ Heavy Metals: The gloves were tested for migration of a wide range of metals, including: Al, Ba, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni, Zn, Sb, As, Cd, Cr, Pb, Hg, and other elements included in the test scope. The test aims to assess whether undesirable elements can migrate into food from the glove material. ✓ PAA – Primary Aromatic Amines. FoodSafe was also subjected to a PAA – Primary Aromatic Amines migration test. These are substances whose migration from food contact materials is subject to stringent restrictions. PAA requirements are part of the European food contact materials safety system. The test for SuperTech FoodSafe resulted in: PAA sum < 0.01 mg/kg – PASS. ✓ DMF / DMFa. The gloves were also tested for dimethylformamide (DMFa) residues – a significant substance in products containing polyurethane. The test was conducted in accordance with EN 16778, and the average result obtained was: 11.8 mg/kg. Safety confirmed by the tests. SuperTech FoodSafe combines several properties,which usually require the use of different types of gloves: food contact + CUT D protection + lightness + dexterity + comfort.
